Fortis Chair Award

The K.U.Leuven - Fortis Chair sponsors the best IME Paper Award for a paper presented at a previous Insurance: Mathematics & Economics conference.

The rules of the contest are as follows:

• The winner is 35 or less at the moment of his/her presentation.
• When the winning paper has been written by a group of authors, only the presenter of the paper receives the award.
• Only papers submitted to and accepted by IME are eligible for the prize.
• The award consists of an amount of 1500 Euro.
• Members of the Editorial Board cannot submit a paper for the prize.
• The jury selecting the winner is composed of 3 members of the editorial board of IME.
• Members of the Editorial Board of IME who co-author a submitted paper for the prize cannot take part in the jury.
• The chairholders, together with the Managing Editor of IME are responsible for handling the practical issues concerning the Best Paper Award.
• To enter the competition, send a separate email to insmathecon@gmail.com at the time of submission.
